We left Mittagong after midday - not as early as I hoped - as usual it took me ages to pack a lot of things which I probably won't use. That gave only about 3 hours on the road before we had to find somewhere to sleep for the night. Angel and I are now settled into a little cabin in the Yass Caravan Park for the night. The drive into Yass was glorious with dams full of water and paddocks looking lovely and green. Tomorrow we are off to Wagga Wagga for morning tea with my father's cousin and his wife (in their 80's) who sounded quite excited to be getting a visit and insisted that bringing a cake along was unnecessary. Sounds like there will be some good old country home baking which I love. With a bit of luck we will make it down to Albury for tomorrow night but will see how far we get as I don't want to be driving after dark. More tomorow.
